Recently, me and Neil went with Kelsey and Alex to take Tyce to his first movie in a theater. He did amazing for a 20 month old little boy!

We took him to How to Train Your Dragon and he loved it up until there were about 30 minutes left and then he was over it.
He sure looked cute though sitting in his little booster seat!

High School Musical Jr.

This week we finally had our school musical that we've been working on for MONTHS!! I had a say in picking what we performed, so of course, my vote was HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!! And I'm still not sick of the music :)
The kids did so well and it was so fun to see them perform.

Here's our darling Sharpay and Ryan

The whole cast

And then just a few pics of the last part of the play.

The kids really were awesome- especially when we had some really frustrating mic issues! I'm pretty glad I won't have to stay at the school until 9 every night anymore though and I think the kids are too!

Birthday Dinner

On Sunday we had my birthday dinner at my parents house with everyone that still lives here.
It was an amazing dinner and Funfetti cake never disappoints!

Alex, Max, Lindsay, Me, Olivia, and Ethan

Lindsay, Me, and Ethan loving every bite of our funfetti!

And my mom bought me some adorable Hello Kitty tattoos trying to feed my need for more. I put one on Livvie, Lindsay, and myself. Ethan and Alex wouldn't hold still long enough for me to put one on their hands.

Thanks for the awesome birthday mom and dad!

Disney WORLD

We made it back from our big trip to Florida and had a great time! It definitely made me wish it was summer time here in Utah! I tried not to upload too many pictures but we were there for over a week and I had a hard time narrowing it down.
We stayed at Disney World the whole time we were there and that was awesome because we weren't in a big rush to try to do everything all in a few days.
Me and Neil at EPCOT

In front of the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom. (Georgy, Neil wore that shirt especially for you!)

Neil was very excited to get a giant turkey leg (I couldn't even stand to smell the thing!)

We were very surprised by the small crowds for this time of year. We usually only had to wait between 10-20 minutes in lines. We rode everything once, just because we could. The really good rides, we went on 3 or 4 times each!

At Typhoon Lagoon, 1 of Disney's water parks.

Toy Story Mania

Since our camera is really crappy (and I dropped it in the sand, which made it even crappier) you can't see very well in this picture but we're in front of the giant mickey hat and ears at Hollywood Studios.

EPCOT again. It was the flower and garden festival going on while we were there which was great because I love flowers and gardening!

In Morocco at EPCOT. I got a henna tattoo here too, which would've worked a million times better for my April Fools joke a few weeks ago!

When we walked into the Japan store, I was so excited with all the darling Hello Kitty things they had. Everything was so darling!

So, I'm a pretty amazing hula hooper...
but I really need to work on my skills so I can do amazing stuff like these little Asian kids in the China section of EPCOT!

Everything is Mickey Shaped. I couldn't wait to come home and eat something that wasn't shaped like Mickey Mouse!

Again, you can't see what we're taking a picture in front of but it's Splash Mountain. I haven't been on this ride for YEARS because it's a little too scary for me and luckily, it's always closed whenever we've been in Disneyland. There was absolutely no line (it was 2 in the morning) and Neil had never been on it, so I conquered my fear and rode Splash Mountain! I was pretty proud of myself, but very unhappy to be so wet!

My old friends Dawn and Joe Orlando had us over for dinner one night and Dawn bought me a little birthday cupcake to celebrate my 26th~
Here's me and Dawn. She is pretty much the nicest person you will ever meet! I wish she still lived in Utah and worked for my dad!

Here's us at the Magic Kingdom.

On one of my all time favorite rides, Big Thunder Mountain

We even had time to hang out at the arcades one night.

Again, because we had a ton of time (and also because we weren't there with any kids) we even went to all the shows that aren't particularly popular or "entertaining." I'd never been to any of these kinds of shows in all my years of going to Disney Land/World. We liked them a lot but they weren't something we'd do again and again! I took my picture with my all time favorite president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, at the president show in Magic Kingdom
It was so fun to be gone, but it's always good to be home too! Except for the fact that I don't think we'll ever get caught up on laundry!

26

I'll be spending my 26th birthday in Disney World with Neil, so instead of packing my presents and opening them in Orlando, I decided to open them before we left (it makes things much easier). Neil wanted me to bring my presents because he's worried that I'll be really sad if I don't have anything to open on Sunday but I assured him that I will be so excited to be spending a week in Disney World that I won't need to open presents to be happy!
Obviously, the biggest present is the vacation, but I also got some cute new gym clothes (that's just about the only thing I ever want to shop for anymore!) and some darling Kate Spade Aviator sunnies.

AND some really long shorts! I think my family members might actually faint and go into shock when they sees me wearing long shorts.
Well, have a great week everyone. You know I'll be on post overload when I get back from Florida!

Easter Sunday

The last of the Easter weekend posts!
Sunday morning Neil and I went to his parents house for delicious brunch. Ava has MASH on her iPod and we played it for hours! Remember that awesome game!?

Shannon and Blake. In Shannon's MASH, she got to marry Hugh Hefner!

More MASHing

Then we went to my parents house for Easter dinner. Neil and the kids played outside for a while when it wasn't too cold.
Liv

Neil and I found our Easter basket and were very grateful about the delicious treats that were inside!!

Easter Vigil

Saturday afternoon we had our annual Nelson Family Easter Egg Hunt at my aunt Connie's. We had do be inside the whole time because it was too cold, wet, and muddy, but Connie's house is the perfect place if you have to stay inside! There's about 1 million things to do!
Max and Nick playing Ping Pong.

Ethan on one of the many cars

Me and Ethan looking for eggs

Maddy and Reagan playing on the bouncy balls

Alex, Connie, Ethan and Lindsay playing the Didgeridoo

I wasn't very good at it
Tay playing

After the party, we went to St. Thomas Moore church where Neil's sister, Leah was getting baptized into the Catholic church. It was about a 3 hour ceremony and Aidan was pretty tired! One of the kids getting baptized was actually asleep and the mom just carried him up to the Priest. The boy didn't even wake up when he got the water on his head!

Father Dave baptizing Leah and her soon to be mother in law was there to help as her God Mother

After Easter Vigil, there was a party to celebrate all the new Catholic members. Here's Aidan, Beck, and Ava.

Ryan, Leah, Pat, and Dawn. I think this picture is extra bright because I was taking it at the same time as someone else.

Neil and I enjoying all the awesome food

Easter Eggs

Friday night, we went to my mom and dad's house to dye eggs with the kids. It was very messy but very fun!
Here's me helping Ethan

The whole group (well, almost)

Nick and Tinky

Reags and Lou

Me and E again

Shelley and Alex

Reagan

Alex, Mom, Reagie, Jill

Everyone really needed tubby time after dying the eggs so we crammed them all in at once!

I made a beautiful pink egg after we finally put the kids in the tub, it was Pinkalicious!
