Jill and Don's family have been in town the last few weekends, so there's been a lot of cuddling with Neil to play on his phone.

And movie nights!

Girl Scout Cookies!

Tinkerbell is a Brownie in Elko ans he came out to Utah to sell us some of her delicious cookies!

Here she is asking Neil to buy some cookies and telling all about the different kinds.
She ended up selling 176 boxes! Way to go, Tinky!

Update on Dad

My Dad has been healing like freaking WOLVERINE!! He's been amazing! He went back to work January 3rd (just a month after his big fall) and has been going like a mad man!
He's back to swimming, biking, weight training and hiking- pretty much everything but running! He is incredible!!!

Here's a post-surgery x-ray of his femur that shows the titanium rod and pins.

Kangaroo Zoo

The humongous slides were definitely the biggest hit!
Shelley helping some of the kids climb up- her kids couldn't figure it out at first and all they wanted to do was climb up a few steps and then slide back down.

Linds made it all the way to the top!

Reagan coming down the huge slide

Reags posing for the camera :)

Lindsay went face first down this one!

Nicholas, looking like he's about to totally flip over.

The baseball bats were the 2nd funnest thing for the kids- especially Ali and Ethie.

Kangaroo Zoo reminds me of "DZ" Discovery Zone from when I was a kid- does anyone else remember that place!?

cookies

I had a very fun night with Shelley and her kids the other night. We played in the snow and then made yummy cookies! The kids really love helping make cookies!

Obviously, the best part is when it's time for SNITCHES!!

After we had stuffed ourselves with cookie dough, we played airplane for about an hour! That was an amazing leg workout!!

Do I know how to PARTY or what!?

Alex's Birthday

Last week we went out with Kelsey and Alex to celebrate Alex's 26th birthday. We went to Tucano's at The Gateway. We all got way too full, of course. But it was fun to get out and be with them because we never hang out together anymore!

The birthday boy!

VEGAS VACATION

Neil and I were in need of a getaway last week, so we packed up the car and drove to Vegas. It was a very short trip, but it was nice to get into some slightly warmer temperatures and MUCH better breathing conditions!

We stayed at the MGM on the strip and our room was really cool. I made Neil take a picture of my favorite part, which was the TV that was a part of the mirror. I don't know why I liked that so much because I don't even watch TV, but it was cool because the mirror just looked like a mirror until you turned the TV on. Good surprise!
We went to Max Brenner's new restaurant inside Caesar's Palace. It's basically just a bunch of delicious chocolate concoctions. We were very surprised at how different this store is compared to the ones we went to in Australia. This is when our waitress first brought us our stuff- there was a TON! And surprisingly, we didn't eat it all!

You can't tell very well, but they brought us a little fire pit at our table to roast our marshmallows and that is what I am doing in this picture.

We went and saw the Cirque Du Soleil show "KA" one night. I was not all that impressed (they only did like 3 cool things in the whole show!!), but Neil liked it, so that was good. We were on the 4th row and it was WAY too close. I wouldn't recommend you seeing this show anyways, but if you go, save some cash and sit back a little.

Another night we were going out- I WON on the Playboy machine :)

We sat and watched some crazies sing kareoke.

The Bellagio had their gardens all decorated for the Chinese New Year, I guess. My assumption is that it is the year of the rabbit.

Neil played this awesomely HUGE slot machine. I don't think he won anything from it though

Our last night in Vegas, we went and saw The Lion King. This show made the whole trip worthwhile! It was unbelievable. Again, we were on the 4th row, which I thought was too close, but that's okay because it was amazing and totally worth it anyways!

The drive was long, but it was a good chance for us to get away and just be together for a few days so it was worth it.

New Years Eve

We had SUCH a great NYE this year hanging out with a bunch of Neil's and Blake's friends. The night was full of games!!
We played darts.

Blake and Neil playing the new Cabela's hunting game.

We had dance offs on the X Box Kinect. I challenged Jessica (and Heather later on).
Here's Jess
Blake, Jason, and Aaron dancing

Me

These 2 little girls, Ali and Jetta, were ALL over Neil!

Then we played some Rock Band (Heather, Aaron, Me, Jason)

Then, just before midnight, we got all dressed up in old crappy clothes (hence the cougars hoodie!) to go splatter our glowsticks everywhere. Blake would cut a hole in the bottom of the glowstick and then we'd whip it around and get the paint all over.

Blake and Jessica came extra prepared for the cold weather!

This is Luke, and this is what we all ended up looking like after the paint party.

I have to say, I'm loving my new start in 2011!!
