I was feeling kind of lazy this year with Halloween and hadn't really put much thought into it. Neil was wanting to do something really cool and go all out, so he decided we would be characters from the popular books/HBO series, Game of Thrones.
He dressed up as Jon Snow.
And I went as Ygritte, [spoiler alert] his love interest who is now dead.We considered having Bear go as either Ghost, Jon Snow's wolf.
Or Tyrion Lanaster, simply because he's a midget and since Barrett is short, that would be funny. Ultimately, we didn't do either because it would've been more work than putting him in an already made astronaut costume that he was very happy with.
We went to Chris and Annie Williams' party last weekend in our full costumes. I'll be honest, they were so dang hot to wear that we didn't wear them for long. Most people thought I was Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games anyways.
Bear had so much fun running around playing with so many kids. Annie hired a few baby-sitters to take care of the kids downstairs. Genius.
Bear and Maiki playing.
Bear and Eli playing with the slot machine.
Bear, Zeek, and Eli.
The babysitters played bingo with them.
This is our group of friends at Annie's party. Of course she photo shopped it all cute!
This is Bear playing with Daddy's Jon Snow sword. He was pretty excited about it. (It was the day he got his face painted at Gardner Village)
The next night, we had a "dinner club" halloween party at Luke and Michelle Barber's house.
Jetta and Barrett were playing with the dry ice in this pumpkin, but I missed the shot.
Since we hated wearing our wigs the previous night, we thought we'd go without them at this party. I tried to pin my hair like she does, but since it's not red, it's not that great. Oh well.
I also left my bow inside when we took these pictures.
It's dark and grainy, but this was our fun group of friends at the dinner club party. Minus the Hydes and the McDonalds who were all late.
The Barber's had a million fun things to play with in their backyard!
We ended up staying really late at their house playing Heads Up, it was the best!
