Weekend Party

We made a quick trip down to St. George this weekend with Neil's brother Blake and his girlfriend Shannon. The weather was so perfect in the day and I really didn't want to leave so soon!
This first picture is of my feet (obviously). I love getting my glitter toes done and I haven't picked them off yet, so I thought I'd document them!

In the pool

We spent some time hiking (I think it was called Big Mountain or Red Mountain)

We went to a really yummy Hawaiian type restaurant that my sister, Jill, introduced us to. It's called Parrot Head Grill or something like that.

Shannon and Blake at Tuacahn Theater. They saw the whole show, Neil and I only saw the end of it.

Me and Neil after Aida at Tuacahn.

We also did some shopping, played tennis AND we went and saw Couples Retreat, which we thought was just okay...

It was a whirlwind weekend- it was very quick and we packed a million things in! It was so fun and I wish we were still there!

Tap Dogs

Last night me, my parents, Shelley, and Taylor went to see a show called Tap Dogs at Kingsbury Hall. It was a very crazy show, but lots of fun! It's just 6 flamboyant Autralians tap dancing in work boots for an hour and a half.

They tap dance upside down and in water and on electronic surfaces and on ramps- everything you can think of!

I really like the sound of tapdancing, so even though it was way noisy- it was really good.

They've been around forever, so if they come back to Utah (or wherever you may be) you should go see them!

It's pretty freakin AMAZING!

(Thanks Mom and Dad for the tickets!)

Do You Want To Supersize That?

My sisters, Berrie and Jill had their birthday this week, we celebrated Berrie today and we'll have a dinner for Jill next week when she's in town. Here's the kids and Berrie singing.
Alex loved the chocolate mint pie! (Who doesn't!?)
Ethan put this McDonald's headset on and it looked especially hilarious with his wifebeater- I had to take some pictures!
We tried to get him to say all sorts of McDonald's phrases, but he didn't comply. I also like that he's wearing shoes and no pants! He's too adorable!

Soccer Saturday

My niece has soccer games on saturday- I had to jam it into my over-packed schedule. Of course it was worth it.Liv is in the orange
She was a really great goalie! (when she wasn't playing in the net)

This day was also one of my oldest friend's wedding, so that added to the stress of wanting to be a million different places at the same time. (I didn't take any pictures, unfortunately)

The GUN Show

This weekend was way too busy. There were a lot of things that overlapped that I wished could had their own day so I could've spent more time at all the different things I wanted to do.
One very fun thing that I did this weekend was go to a bodybuilding/fitness show that a couple of my friends were competing in.
There were WAY too many guys competing- that part of the show took forever! I took this picture because the guy on the far left is wearing a pirate patch. He may actually need to wear an eye-patch, I don't know. He played it up by posing to Pirates of the Caribbean music~ I had to laugh. The guy 2nd from the left was an oompa loompa. and the guy on the far right was purely psychotic!

I took a picture of this guy because he is Mr. Utah 2009 AND the captain of the 2009 USA team- so that must mean he's pretty cool.
Here's my group of gym friends that I went with (Jenny, Diane, Rachel, Me, Missy)
I don't know any of these people, I just took the picture- they're pretty hot! I love their outfits because they are so sparkly!!
This is my friend Allison!
Yeah- she has 2 kids!
She's the 2nd from the left.
And this is my other friend, Carli (in the middle). She won 2nd~!~ (she has 2 kids too)
And here we all are at the end of the night with our formerly caucasian friend Allison. I'm not exactly sure what race she is now...
The pics of the show are really really crappy because of the lighting and my inability to hold my camera still, but you get the idea.
I'll add more of the other events of my overfilled weekend soon.

FUN Overload!!

My sweet aunt and uncle invited our family over to have dinner and play on all their amazing toys. Dinner was incredible (thanks to Jan) and the playground was out of this world (thanks to Dan).
Dan built these fantastic "tree houses" all himself! He has spent so much time on them and is so sweet to share with us!
This first collage is the pics of the airplane tree house. The propellor really spins! In these pictures, there's Ethan, Alex, and Olivia.
His newly finished project is the pirate ship!~ WOW! You would not believe the detail that is in this ship! There's some pictures of my mom, dad, Ethan, Alex, Lindsay, Livvie, Shelley, and Berrie.

If the airplane and the ship weren't enough- there's still more fun to be had! (it never ends!) There's pictures of the triplets and Liv, my parents, Dan and Jan, Shell, and Berr.
Seriously- we had the funnest time with all the toys and especially the company! What a FUN night!!!

LJH

I'm in charge of the pep squad at my jr. high and we just got in our clothes that we wear on game days and such. I'm so excited about my cute new Legacy clothes to show school spirit! Plus it makes it even more fun because I got to pick these out and help design them!

Boating

We got to go boating yesterday with Neil's dad, Kelsey, and Alex. We are soooo sore today, but it was so much fun!
Here's a few of our best tube crash pictures!
We had the best time and we all wish we would've gone more often during the summer! What were we thinking waiting til September!?

Labor Day

We went hiking today with Kelsey, Alex, Tyce, Kelsey's sister Laura, and her boyfriend Taylor. Taylor lives up in Alpine, so we went up to a place near his house.
This is when we first put Tyce in the Baby Bjorn. They didn't put his arms in the arm holes and he looked really funny!
Me and Neil in front of the "main attraction" of this hike. It's a slippery rock that people slide down jungle book style! We didn't bring our swimsuits and the water was really cold, so we didn't try it. It didn't look like it would feel too good on your bum though!
Alex, Tyce, Kelsey at a little pond that kids ride their bikes into. (no one was there doing that today, but Taylor said he used to do it all the time and the jump was still there)
You can see the ramp a little better in our picture

This is Laura and Taylor
Alex was going to die with Tyce on the front of him, so eventually we flipped him around and it was better for everyone.
Aren't they cute sisters?!
The 5 of us again
The whole drive to Alpine, Tyce was so tired, but he never fell asleep. Then, he stayed awake the whole hike until we got about 5 minutes from the car. He definitely didn't get a long enough nap though.
I'm totally beat from hiking and being in the sun all day. I have big plans to go to bed nice and early tonight!

Farmington Train Ride

This morning was the last day the cute little train in Farmington was open for the year. Shelley's kids had never been on it and Max and Liv hadn't gone since they were pretty little. We had a really fun morning together on the train!
Here's Ethan, Shelley, Alex, and Sean
Livvie, Berrie, and Max
E, Shelley, Sean. I was sitting in front of these guys and I couldn't turn around to take a picture or else the train would tip off the tracks. I kept trying to get their picture by just aiming the camera behind me without turning around- this one worked pretty well I think!
Maxwell and his "ticket" glasses. He kept shouting, "All aboard!" It was hilarious.
Me and Lindsay. We were on the most uncomfortable bench- my butt was in serious pain when the ride was over!
Ethan playing on the train in the playground area.
Max and Livvie got sponge bob ice cream! (MESSY)
Alexander
Liv was on top of the train singing "Womanizer" it was pretty entertaining!
Linds
The only way we could get the kids to leave is by telling them we were going to see Berrie's chickens- they would've stayed at the train ride all day!
