Last Hoorah!

We tried to fit in as much fun as we could in the last few days we were in Utah. My school friends were on spring break, so Nicole and I went over to play at Annie's.

We headed over to Grandma and Papa's too since they just got back in town right before we left again!

We wanted to do even more fun stuff but just ran out of time and energy! Next time!

Zoo

All the kids were on Spring Break last week so we headed down to the Hogle Zoo (along with 50 million other spring breakers).
We stopped for a delicious lunch at Hire's on the way down.  YUM!

Garbage

Barrett saw this box of cereal in the garbage and thought he'd get some out for a snack.  It's disgusting cereal (that's why it's in the garbage), but he was totally loving it!

I can't think of where he would possibly get that disgusting idea from... ;)  Although, honestly, I haven't eaten out of the garbage in years- I don't think!

Helper Baby

Barrett really is the best helper! He helps me with everything and has been helping Pops and LaLa with their things too.

He loves helping turn on and off the lights. If there's a door or cupboard open that he's not supposed to get into, he'll go and close it. He tries to put the cabinet locks back on if we left those off too.  He's pretty good about picking up his own messes already. If you give him a washrag or napkin, he'll wipe his face and the counter in front of him. We are lucky to have such a helpful little man! I hope all these good helper traits stick around!!

Little Gym Visitors

Bear and I had 2 awesome visitors with us at little gym recently! 
LaLa came one week and Bear had a ton of fun with her!

 

Daddy got to come the next week and Barrett had a blast with him too!

Girls Nights

Last week I got to go out and party with some serious hotties!
Jeanette and I went out to Zupas and had the best time- we even spent forever talking in the car when she dropped me off like a couple of teenagers!

I also got to squeeze in a dinner at Cheesecake Factory with Nique, Brit, Jamie, and Brianne.  Surprisingly, we called it a night way early :(  Usually we're talking our butts off for hours and hours!!  (the flash didn't do us any favors here...)

Easter (PICTURE OVERLOAD!)

We had a great Easter weekend and were lucky enough to have Neil come in town!  The weekend flew by because we had so many things going on!  On Friday, we dyed some eggs

Saturday, we went to the Easter party at Connie and Craig's.  Bear was napping while everyone else was doing the Easter egg hunt, so when he woke up and went outside to find his things, he had a lot of sweet helpers.

He loved his new toothbrush and had to have it opened immediately.

I seriously love that balloon!  Could it be cuter!?  (notice Bear is chewing on his toothbrush)
