Johnson Family Party

The 23rd is always reserved for the Johnson Bingo party and it's always a great time!  Bear got to come for a little bit before he had to go home to bed.

The kids were pretty entertained by Toy Story while the rest of us snacked and talked.

He always has to go play in the racquetball court.  It's freezing in there!

Bear got in his jammies and gave some hugs and kisses before I took him home.

This was Bear's Bingo prize.

After Bingo, we had a Christmas trivia game because there was 1 leftover bingo prize to claim.

Neil won the game (he wins everything!) and got these cute fuzzy gloves.  Naturally, he gave the gloves to me so I got 2 prizes this year :)

Mary and Lola got these matching dresses as their Bingo prizes and had to change into them immediately.

Sibling Party

We had our annual Johnson Family sibling party last week. We started doing this probably 6 years ago instead of giving each other gifts.  

I thought this first picture was so funny because we're all making such random faces and I don't know why!

We played LCR as usual.

Kurt won the first round.

Neil won the second round.  I wish this picture would've been more clear.

And I can't remember whether I won the third round or if Neil won again, but we got lots of money that night!

Ugh... After LCR we played an awful game that Monica made us play and we will never do again.  Ever.  You put your headphones on and a blindfold and then sing a song from your iPod.  The point is that you make a fool of yourself but you don't realize how crappy you're singing because of the headphones.   Like I said, we won't be playing that again no matter what.

Get Air

I'm getting behind on all my pictures since there's been so much going on lately!

A few days before Christmas, Neil and I took Bear to the Get Air trampoline park in Kaysville.  It was really fun and quite a bit different from the one in Layton.

Neil was doing flips like crazy, I couldn't get a very good picture of one though.

 I wish we could've stayed longer but we had other things to do to get ready for Christmas.

Exercise

The other morning as I was trying to hurry out of the house to get to the gym, Bear decided he needed to do some exercises with LaLa.  Bear followed along with LaLa and the DVD.  It was hilarious!

Christensen Party

Earlier this week my parents went out with my dad's siblings and their spouses to celebrate Christmas.  Dan and Jan were in charge of the party this year and they went all out!

They hired the biggest limo in Utah so they could fit all 20 people in 1 vehicle.  I think they said it was 41 or 42 feet long.

The limo took them down to Temple Square to see the lights.

Then they had a private room at The Roof for dinner.

It looked like a very fun party!

Overboard

I know I go a little overboard with posting every single picture I take of Barrett, but if I don't put them on my blog, they never get printed and then they just live on the computer forever! SO, on my blog is where they go.  

Bear had hot chocolate with marshmallows for the first time recently and he loved it!  When I took these top two pictures, he was on his second cup of the day.

So handsome.  I love dressing him up in his cute church clothes.

He started making this funny kissy face to Neil on FaceTime earlier that day.

He is the best person to watch a show with because he will cuddle right up to you and grab your hands to hold.  It's heavenly.

He's a good cuddler when you read to him too.  And this boy LOVES reading!

Apparently he was pretty hungry when we got home from the gym this afternoon because he went straight to this wheel of cheese and was doing his best to eat it right through the plastic.

We made it to Lindsay's last basketball game this season.  She was so fun to watch.

Bear likes to put on people's glasses.  The results are adorable.

We went to the Treehouse with Erika and Naomi.  I hardly took any pictures because they were just running from place to place (and usually not together).

We went to visit Grandma GiGi last Sunday and took her a Christmas card.  He talks about his great grandmas all the time, so we love when we get to see them!  He especially loves her Christmas tree and her huge stash of M & M's!

The kids wanted to watch Lion King the other night.

2 Year Check Up

We got in for his check up 3 weeks late, but he didn't need any immunizations so it didn't matter too much.

Height: 36.02 inches (85th percentile)
Weight: 28.99 lbs (60th percentile)
Head: 49.8 cm (77th percentile)

Annual Lorenzen Party

We were able to make it to Kacey and Dave's Christmas party this year.  I love getting to see these girls!  

I liked this first picture better but it's a little blurry and Annie's looking at another camera.  Luckily we took a few.
