My Mother's Day

I had a really great mother's day this year!  A few days before, we had gone to get some cute workout pants for me from Lululemon but they didn't have the ones I wanted.  Rain check! 

Neil got up with Barrett while I slept in.  

It was cold and rainy here, so Neil made breakfast, lunch, and dinner for us and we just hung around the house.  

We were able to FaceTime with my parents and Neil's parents too.  

And Neil made the cutest blog post which was a huge surprise since he's never even commented on my blog! Scroll down or click here to see it.

Barrett got a new haircut on Saturday.  Can you believe how grown up he looks!?

We did run next door to get some yummy Starbucks treats and as soon as we got back to our apartment, it starting hailing like crazy!! Good timing on our part.  (Yes, we literally live right next to a Starbucks, it is BAD NEWS!)

We are so lucky to have the moms and grandmas that we do- we certainly wouldn't be the people we are today without them!  We wish we could've been with them on mother's day, but we'll see them very soon and we can't wait!  Love you guys!!

P.S. In reference to the post that Neil wrote, he made me some memes.  In case you have no idea what a meme is #oldergeneration :), I'll post a couple popular memes that you've maybe seen on Facebook or Pinterest.  It's just a picture with a funny saying that gets really popular.
