Birthday Boy

It was Neil's 28th birthday this weekend and he wanted to go to Las Vegas to celebrate!
We always have to go to the Bellagio gardens

And we always have to lose a little money in the slot machines. Neil won a couple times.
I didn't even win once!

There's no way we would go to Vegas without hitting up a buffet. We chose Bellagio's this time.

This is the greatest place on the planet! We became addicted to it in Australia so I freaked out when I saw it was opening in Caesar's Palace!

Then we changed to go out at night, which was a blast!
Happy Birthday baby!

Tuesdays with The Twins

I take my sister's twins on Tuesday's while her and her husband's work schedules overlap. I've only had them for 2 weeks so far but we've been having so much fun!

The first Tuesday, I took them to their soccer camp and then to Barnes and Noble.

This week we bought season passes to LAGOON!!
I know this is a crazy blurry picture, but I love it anyways! The first ride they wanted to go on as soon as we got there was one of the haunted houses. As soon as we got in the cart, they both covered their eyes and ears and snuggled into me! It was really funny!

Max and Liv on the Lady Bug Bop (or something like that)

The Jumping Dragon

Liv, Me, and Max

Us on the Tidal Wave. This was their favorite ride.

On the swings. I seriously almost puked on this ride. I got all hot and sweaty and started dry heaving! I guess I've gotten too old for spinning rides :(

This was when we were leaving and Max said the most hilarious thing ever! He had won those 2 prizes playing some games and I bought them the cotton candy on our way to the car and he says, " Two toys and cotton candy, What a country!" I laughed forever about that! That kid has perfect timing for delivering lines!
I think the 3 of us will be spending plenty of time at Lagoon this summer, and NOT just on Tuesdays!
OKAY- so I just realized that it looks like I cut all my hair off in these pictures, but really it's just in a ponytail and my bangs are doing bizarre things thanks to the wind. Just so ya know.

Random Pics

My mom buys about a million Thomas the Tank Engine toys each week and while she was shopping for more, she found this hilarious piece that is actually called McCall's Pig Shed! Of course, she had to buy it because it has my name on it and I love pigs (or at least I did when I was little, I'm pretty much indifferent towards them now). Pretty freaking sweet!
Online, when my mom ordered it, it did say McCall's Pig Shed, but when it came, it actually said McColl's Pig Shed (obviously not as awesome as McCall's). It's still super cool though :)

My mom reading with Tinkerbell and Reagers.

I forgot to put this picture up from last month when my family went out to dinner for my dad's birthday at Joy Luck. We had a blast!

Tink found a doll comb and was trying to do Taylor's hair (and beard)

Busy!

We had a very fun and eventful weekend.
It was Kelsey's birthday so we went to The Grand America hotel for breakfast. It was so delicious!

It was my friend John's birthday too so we went to dinner with a big group of gym friends. This is Allison, John, and Jenny (I don't know what any of them are looking at!)

The we went bowling with Kelsey, Alex, Tyce, Camille and Ray at Sparetime.

Tyce LOVED it! None of the bowling pics turned out very well because it was so dark.

A poor attempt at a group shot, but better than nothing.

We also had a going away party for my friend Nicole's husband, Randon, who is being deployed next week but I forgot to get pictures of that!

Live the Dream!

I saw this van the other day and was laughing so hard! I was so excited when I pulled up behind it at a stop light so I could get a picture.

I think I just found my new summer job!

Nicholas

My oldest nephew, Nick, got baptized out in Elko this weekend so some of my family made the longest drive ever to go see him and celebrate.
I drove with Shelley and Sean's family. The kids did really well, even though Lindsay wouldn't let me take a nap!

Lindsay kept wanting to smell my feet and tell me they were stinky (they weren't, by the way!)

We went swimming at our hotel.

Me and Tinky

We had a picnic at the park too. My hands got so sore from crossing the monkey bars and the rings! I thought I was going to have blisters!

Lots of jumping on the tramp.
We ate bags and bags of candy!

This is right after the baptism. It's Jill's family, my parents, and Don's parents.

Me and my sister Shelley

Some of my nieces and nephews that were there (and Don)

Jill had done some really cute decorations

And this is the reason we all ate so much candy!

Holly's Baby Shower

On Wednesday, some of my gym friends got together at Chili's to celebrate Holly and baby Ruby (due July 2nd).
Holly with a darling outfit and John (our sugar daddy. he ended up buying all our dinners!)

Me and Jenny (I came straight from the gym)

We couldn't get all our friends there, but here's a group shot of who could make it. John, Allison, Rachel, Holly, Jenny, me.

Holly even let me touch her belly (it felt weird and I totally can't even imagine having my own stomach feel like that!)
We can't wait to meet baby Ruby!

Memorial Day

We had our typical Memorial Day activities this year. We started at the Kaysville cemetary.

This is at my Grandpa Denny's grave.
Walking over to my uncle David's.
The horses were too enticing for the kids at the Layton cemetary, that's all they wanted to see.
Neil, Ethan, and Pops
At Grandpa RJ's grave

My cousin Ben's. His headstone just got put in and it is so gorgeous!
Me and Dad at my cousin Sayler's grave.

The free pop is always a plus there :)
