Rocket

I took Barrett over to Jill's house the other day so he could play with her family, especially Rocket!
He had a blast playing with Rocket!

6 and 8

This weekend we celebrated Whitney and Reagan's birthdays.  On Saturday, the girls got to take a few friends to a salon to get their hair and nails done.  Here's an after pic.

 

Reags got Sage, the new American Girl doll for her birthday AND a matching dress!

Reagan had a fairy cake this year and Whitney wanted a surfer girl cake (she's obsessed with that show about the girl who gets her arm eaten by a shark)

Barrett and I didn't get to stay for very much of the fun due to bedtime, but we were certainly glad we got to play as much as we did!

T Rex

Every day when we go into the playroom, the first thing Barrett wants to get is the remote control T Rex.  As soon as he opens the door, he points to it and nods his head telling me to get it down.  He usually only makes him stomp and roar a few times and then moves on to other toys, but for some reason he has to play with T Rex first.

I don't blame him though- it's hard to pass up a dinosaur toy!

Bear's Big Day

Yesterday, Barrett and I had a pretty big day!  I took Barrett to a daycare for the first time in his life.  I added him to my gym membership because I really want to get to the gym more often and this will help me get there (hopefully).  I was super anxious about it, but he did really well.  And he was SOOO excited to see me when I came to pick him up- that was the best part!

Later that afternoon, I took him to his first Little Gym class.  He had a great time there with the instructors and loved playing with all the balls!

This is his new friend, Frankie.

We're super excited to go again each week!

To top of his fun-filled day, he decided to rub his honey toast all over his hair and face.  He's never done that before and I have no idea why he picked honey toast to try it with!  Then he got in the tubby, of course!

2/23

February 23rd is my sister's and my nephew's birthday.
I went out with my mom and sisters to Market Street Grill on Friday night to celebrate and had the best time!

We watched and talked about this youtube video all night and nearly died laughing every time!  I seriously have not seen anything this hilarious in a long time!!



Saturday, Barrett and I stopped over at Monica and Kurt's house to party with William.
Bear was way too interested in exploring- he hardly ate anything!

All he wanted to do was play on the stairs.

Valentines Part III

I have the sweetest niece ever, she wrote me the cutest valentine!

Papa and Grandma

While I was sick in bed last weekend, Barrett got to go over and play with his grandparents! He loves seeing his Papa and Grandma Johnson!

President's Day Weekend

To celebrate President's Day, we came home to America :)
Barrett literally squealed with excitement when he went in Pops' and LaLa's house and saw his family!! We love being home! 

We also went out with some friends and played wallyball at Surf n Swim.  Michelle (in the blue) was due in 11 days and was still way better than I've ever been at volleyball!

Here's our group that went.  Heather (on the far left) is also pregnant and also rocked it!  I'm showing you my horribly red and swollen arms/wrists.  I still have a big yellow bruise on my forearm/wrist!

We stayed out way past our curfew to play some games with Jason and Heather.  They love games even more than us and they have about a million of them!

Nicholas competed in his first ballroom dance competition and he and his partner took 1st place in the foxtrot!  I wish I could've been there instead of being stuck on the couch with the flu!

Valentine's Part II

The morning we were flying home to Utah, I remembered that I didn't get the mail on Valentine's Day and I knew my parents had sent something to Bear. I went down to get the mail and sure enough, Barrett had a letter.
He was pretty excited about it!

"A letter for me?!"

"Oh, you shouldn't have!"

"This is the best envelope EVER!"

"I'm going to kiss this puppy all day and get glitter everywhere!"

Harry Potter

This isn't a very clear picture, but Neil and Barrett were playing Quidditch the other day.  Neil would fly Bear around on his Firebolt and he would laugh and laugh and laugh!

Poo What?

Poo-TEEN.  In Canada they have a snack called poutine.  It's french fries with gravy and cheese curds on top.  We finally got around to trying some last week and it was pretty good.

Bear approved.

I don't know that I'd get it again, but it's good to try things at least once :)
