Birthdays

We've been able to celebrate a bunch of birthdays in our family this last week.

We finally had Neil's birthday dinner (he'd been out of town for a while).

Everyone grabbing for a candle.

And the triplets turned 3 on July 1st! The boys wanted Lightening McQueen cakes and Linds wanted Cinderella. (I was mixing red frosting for about an hour!)

Ethan wanted to wear Lindsay's princess crown!

YAY!
Some of the party guests.
The Christensen girls.

Then it was Taylor's 22nd birthday on Friday.

An old family friend "Dog Collar Brandon" and his cute wife came over to visit too.

This Weeks Lagoon Adventures

This week I got to go to Lagoon twice!
I went with Shelley, Sean, Sean's mom Kim, Ethan, Alex, and Lindsay to celebrate their 3rd birthday!

This was the first ride they went on and we were all a little nervous to see if they'd freak out or if they would love it. Luckily, they loved it and wanted to go on bigger and better rides each time.

Me, Ethan, and Shel on the baby Tidal Wave.

Kim, Linds, Alex, and Sean on the baby Tidal Wave.

We had so much fun playing in the water fountain at the end of the day.

The kids loved every ride they went on and always wanted to go on it again as soon as it stopped EXCEPT for the tug boats! Lindsay and Alex were both climbing out! Lindsay actually got out of the seat belt and kept trying to get onto the sidewalk and Alex was totally turned around and climbing off the back of the boat. It's a little boring for 3 year olds I guess.

Ethan on the Merry Go Round.

The kids all wanted to be holding Sean's hands (or on his shoulders)

The other time I went to Lagoon this week was with Max, Liv, Jill, Tinkerbell, Reagan, Nick, and Neil got to come too!
Neil played darts and won a stuffed animal for the little girls.

Tink and Reags on the baby bumper cars.

Max and Liv love getting in the water fountains too!

Oh and we ran into Neil's sister Stella and her son Beck. This is them (with one of Beck's friends) on the Scrambler! This used to be my FAVORITE ride, but it makes me so sick now. It's sad getting old.

Me and Max on the Merry Go Round

The big bumper cars. Here's a lovely shot of Neil ramming Nick and Nick is ramming me and Liv. It gave me a headache. I hate the bumper cars.

Reagie and Jill on the Merry Go Round.

Max and Tink

I'm getting pretty good use from my season pass and I'm loving every minute of it!!

Twilight Traditions

Somehow my family has gotten into this tradition of seeing the Twilight movies twice in a 24 hour time period every time they hit theaters.
We've been very lucky because one of my dad's colleagues rents out a theater for an advanced screening the night it opens. We're even luckier that we don't have to wait until midnight. We get to start at 8:30!

Then, for some reason, we always go see it again the next day. (Berrie was here for this one too, just not when we took this terrible picture). Oh, my mom's eye is still black from her bike crash, in case you were wondering what that was all about. She's healing really well, but I think she might have gotten a concussion- her memory is worse than ever!
Each film has gotten better and better (now if they'd just fix Edward's and Bella's TEETH!!), so I think we're in for a treat with Breaking Dawn :)

Bear Lake

My family spent all of last week up at our cabin in Bear Lake. I took a lot of pictures, so there's your warning.

One of the days was cold and rainy until the afternoon, so we built some lego sets until we could go out to the beach.

You know I love to hula hoop!

Liv, Whit, and Reags.

Building sandcastles. (This was on the cold day, Jill didn't even get out of the car).

Reagan and Linds

Nick caught a ladybug.

Reagan and Lindsay again.

Jill, Shelley, and Me (I don't know where Berrie was for this sister picture)

My mom bought a new shade thing, but we didn't know how to make it tall at first so we all looked like idiots sitting under the midget canopy. I hit my head on the bars probably 50 freaking times!!

The kids always get so cold in the water but they never want to get out! Here's Livvie trying to warm up with her mom.

And Jill warming up Reagie

Me and Ethie burying a 2x4.

Tink got bit by a spider on her wrist and it got so swollen and red, she had to go to the doctor. It got much worse after this picture. Her whole little hand was swollen and all the way up to her elbow! Poor thing.

And my mom crashed on her bike one day and got really torn up! She has a huge bump on her head and a black eye and a million scrapes and scratches. LUCKILY, she's okay!

Shelley, Jill, LeeAnn, Colleen, Berrie, and Me.

More sandcastles.

Lots of fights (they always start out innocent and end in real fights, except when it's with my dad)

Mom and Shel

Me cuddling Tinkerbell to get her warmed up.
Bear Lake is always a fun trip with so many fun memories! And in case you actually noticed, I have a band aid on my left side because I had a mole removed. I'm annoyed that it is in every single picture!
