Berrie and Jill's birthday

Tomorrow, Sept. 30 is Jill and Berrie's birthday (believe it or not, they are twins)
The most interesting thing about their birth is that my parents had NO IDEA they were pregnant with two babies! My mom stayed really tiny and ultrasounds weren't big then. They had the surprise of their lives!
We celebrated over the weekend when Jill and Don were in town from Elko.

We just sat around all night just hanging out and laughing our butts off, thanks to Taylor and Jason.

Reunited and It Feels So Good

On Wednesday 9/24, my "other" little brother came home from his mission! I didn't get to see him until Friday but ever since, we can't get enough of him! Jason has been a part of our family for probably the last 6-7 years, coming on all our family vacations, making jam with my mom, and entertaining us all. Everyone that knows Jason LOVES him because he is so much fun to be around. I'm so glad to have him home again and I'm also very glad he's moving in with Tay in SLC. I don't think they'll ever sleep!
Here's Jason, the first time we saw him after 2 whole years!

Jason and Neil. They have an ongoing Pop-Pop war, Neil's been counting down the days til he can throw them at his bare back again.

Tay, Jason, McCall, Neil.

Here's Tay and Jerry (just one of the many nicknames we have for him)

This is Tay and Jason in 2004 up in Sun Valley. I brought them both speedos back from Australia and Thailand and they wore them the whole trip!

Jason and Neil. This is an EXCELLENT shot of Jason's uber soft back. It is the softest skin I have ever touched.

This is us in Sun Valley (same vacation) Horse back riding.

Neil and Jason in Newport Beach playing a brutal hand slapping game.

And last is Tay and J in Sun Valley in 2005 or 2006.

Can ya tell I've been excited to see him!? Taylor is happier than I've seen him in 2 years!

Present for ME

I bought myself this cute new purse yesterday. I haven't bought anything this Whole month, so when this cute Fossil bag was on sale I knew I HAD to buy it!
Even though it's really huge and my sister thought it was a diaper bag, I'm in LOVE with it!
Thanks again, self!

Lightning McCord

Over the weekend, my nephew McCord ran a 1/4 mile race for kids.
He won 2nd Place out of ALL the kids! (He's in the light blue shirt #918)

He was even in the newspaper! This is is photo that was in the paper.

He's only 3!

Johnson Party

Yesterday was Blake's birthday (Neil's big brother) and it was also Pat and Dawn's anniversary (Neil's parents) so we had a big party to celebrate. OH- and Kurt's birthday (Neil's bro-in-law) is next week so that was part of the party too.
They got these delicious and adorable cupcakes from the bakery "So Cupcake" which I've been wanting to go since it opened, so i was glad they came to the party!

We sang to Blake (the guy in the left hand corner) and Kurt (not pictured)

On the way to Blake's birthday party, Stella, Jedd, Ava, and Beck happened to find a Freaking Tarantula! So, they scoop it up and bring it to the party as their gift to Blake. Oh man, it gave me chills to be that close to it!

It makes me seriously sick to know that those nasty things live in Utah. I had no idea and I am NOT happy about it!

ewwwwwwwww!

This is her and her FIANCE, Jesse!

They just got engaged on Thursday night. This is her new ring!

We are all so excited for them because they're both just so fun and so dang cute!

Missy's Baby Shower

Last night Me, Cristi, Kelsey, and Jeanette threw Missy a baby shower. It was so much fun!

Here's Netti and Miss

It was a dessert party, so we had massive amounts of the yummiest foods ever! Including these cupcakes

And these cute cookies. And home made oreos, chocolate dipped strawberries, ice cream sandwiches, fruit pizza, a jello thing, etc.

Cristi had this cute idea to buy her a bunch of clothes and string them on a clothes line and put it in a basket, so she pulls out this long string of cute little tiny clothes for all of us!

After the party, we thought we should make use of the helium in the balloons. Me and the boys were having a blast!

Only 3 more weeks until her due date- we're so excited to see little Brinley!!

Mother Dearest

Yesterday my Mom had surgery to repair a herniated disk in her back. She did so well. She stayed in the hospital last night, came home today and is all over the place. She's supposed to be down for at least 10 days and I have a feeling we're going to have to fight to keep her down!

Her room at LDS actually had a really amazing view of the Capitol.

My sweet Dad filled the house with flowers, it looks and smells great!

I have to say THANKS to Chelsey, Jo, and Janet from work who brought a delicious dinner for us tonight. You guys are so thoughtful! We are all stuffed!

Me, Berrie, Shelley, and my Dad just hung out at the hospital for a few hours.
My Grandma CC was quite the hero taking very good care of my mom today and yesterday! I guess you never grow out of needing your mom!

Zeppe's

I forgot to mention that last weekend, Me, Kelsey, and Missy went to get a delicious treat at a place called Zeppe's. The boys were doing the usual Nintendo playing so we took off. It is really far away and I couldn't tell you how to get there, but Missy or Kelsey could give you that info! I can't remember what the treat was called, but it was like a Rainbow from Pace's, but they use custard instead of ice cream and they change their slushy flavors every day!
This picture is hilarious to anyone who know Kelsey. You see, she thinks she is 5'7", or at least she was until she shrunk during pregnancy. As you can clearly tell, she IS NOT, nor ever has been 5 foot 7! She's hilarious!
Another funny story is that Missy had to pee the whole time but we were pretty much surrounded by ghetto gas stations, so we drove an extra 15-20 minutes (almost running out of gas) until we could find a gas station that had police officers and was well lit. Then, she could finally go to the bathroom! That bathroom actually turn out to be really nasty with no toilet paper and no soap- but at least it was SAFE!

9/12

We had a very busy and Fun-filled Friday yesterday.
Me, Neil, Jesse, and Jeanette went to Johnny Greaves and Stacey Beyers wedding reception. It was so much fun and they both looked so adorable! She is so photogenic, she really looked great in all her pictures. Plus it was just so much fun to see all the people I never get to see!

Next we met up with the usual crowd at Chuck-a-rama! No, I'm not kidding. Missy and Aaron love that place, so that's where we went. I'd never been there, but it wasn't as bad as I'd imagined!

Then we went to Alex's parent's indoor pool (this lovely fellow is right above the pool)

the boys all got in and played for a couple hours, but the water was just to cold for us girls.

Here they are playing HORSE, or as Aaron would say HOUSE.

I have to admit, I was beyond exhausted by the end of the night!

New Obsession

Neil and I have an addiction. Besides Neil's habit for consuming countless 5 Hour Energy drinks, we have fallen in love with the Showtime series called Dexter.
Dexter is a forensic analyst during the day and a violent vigilante serial killer by night, therefore, the show is probably not for everyone.

There's always a million twists and turns (as in any good tv series) and even though I have tried to avoid getting sucked in, I just can't help myself! I guess that's why they call it an addiction.

Hundred Hay Day

So, this is my 100th post since joining blogger in December. And to celebrate, Some amazing things happened today that had to do w/ hundreds.
$-First, today is the day that the Wasatch 100 mile race is and neither of my parents ran it! What a relief!
$-Second, I went in to the office tonight with my dad to help him with my uncle's tooth. Since it is Sunday and he felt bad that I can in to help, he wanted to give me a tip. Of course I said no way because it was just plain FUN for me to get to be assisting again and he's my uncle. But he slips some money in my pocket anyways and when I get home I notice: It's a Benjamin. I was shocked! He's so freaking nice.
$-Third, I got a back-to-school present of 100 bucks today so I could get some more new clothes!!

Talk about a lucky Day!

P.S. Just for the record, I loved Britney's dress when she opened the VMA's

It's Official

Britney Spears will make an appearance at the MTV VMA's tomorrow night!
Any of you who go way back w/ me will probably remember that I have always loved Britney Spears. I've been to quite a few of her concerts; once in a suite and once on the front freaking row! Lately I've been embarrassed by this fact since she's been such a psycho path, but I just keep hoping she's going to make a real comeback sometime soon.
She's had such AWESOME VMA performances (w/ the exception of last years, of course!) Her costumes, her body, her music... What else can I say.

From Left to Right we've got last years Unforgettable performance, The Madonna/Britney/Cristina performance was 2003, The snake was 2001, The nude colored sparkly outfit was 2000, and her first performance at the Video Music Awards was in 1999 when she was only 17!
Oh, Come On- everyone deserves a second (or 3rd, or 4th, or 5th) chance! I hope she's going to perform tomorrow and surprise everyone!!

Cord and Dane

John, Stef, McCord and Dane have been here to visit this past week. It's always so fun to see them!
The other day, my Grandma C.C. walked in with a basket full of tomatoes. When McCord saw her, he walked right up, grabbed a tomato and started eating it like an apple! It was so hilarious.

He'd never even had a tomato before- he cracks me up!

Here's smiley little Dane.

He is the happiest little baby!

When I was taking those pictures of Dane, Cord said, "why are you taking pictures of him? He's not even starting Pre School!" So I said, "should I take your picture since you're starting pre school?" And then he pulled this nice pose!

Good bye for now, I hope to see you guys again soon!

Baby Tyce

Little Tyce (Kelsey and Alex's baby) is getting so big and he's just so dang cute!

I had to get a picture of him in some of the jammies we gave him!
